ABOUT US

Dolphin Adventure was set up in 1994 by husband and wife team Tony and Angie Watkins. They began with MV ‘Villa San Antonio’, a 12m motor cruiser that started life as a purpose built day charter boat in Ibiza. With much hard work, business was good and in 2007 the 12 seats of Villa San Antonio were replaced with our 49 seater - Dolphin Adventurer, our first purpose built, state of the art yellow catamaran. With more seats, a faster cruising speed and the amazing stability only offered by catamarans, Dolphin Adventure evolved into Gibraltar’s leading dolphin watching operation. There has been a further upgrade since then with the introduction, in 2013, of Dolphin Adventurer II. So popular was our first catamaran that she now has a sister! With a capacity for 70 people and all the latest technology she is the best that money can buy for dolphin watching. Dolphin Adventure has always worked hard to protect dolphins and promote awareness, but when marine biologist Rocio Espada joined the company in 2013 this moved on to a much higher level. We are now involved with many conservation organisations worldwide and have even assisted in the writing of the local legislation regarding responsible dolphin watching. We have travelled as far as Australia and America to spread the word.
